I joined Patrick Raizerov on his Foolproof Mastery Podcast to discuss several often confusing areas of nutrition research. As this was quite a dense conversation, it has been split into 3 parts.
Part 1 involves discussion around nutrition and chronic disease prevention, as well as whether or not we can truly reverse chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and cancer. To cap off the episode, we also discuss some of the common concerns around observational research.
Part 2 centres on the topics of plant-based diets and both fracture and stroke risk as numerous media headlines have suggested vegans and vegetarians are at higher risk of both in recent years.
Part 3 is focused on more of the typical myths and misconceptions around plant-based nutrition and fad diets, including a discussion on the nutritional adequacy of plant-based diets.
